FAQ

What is it and how can it help me?
Kinesiology is a holistic practice that uses gentle muscle testing to find and release stress from within the body. It’s about listening to your body and restoring harmony where stress has created disruption. Offering a gentle yet powerful approach to support you through periods of stress and life challenges.
Reiki is a complementary therapy to support emotional, mental, and physical well-being. It involves gently placing hands on or just above the body to help guide energy, remove blockages, and restore balance. People often report feeling deep relaxation or warmth during a session.
What happens in a session?
Each session includes a blend of conversation, muscle testing, and energetic balancing. I will work with your body to address what it needs in that moment, regarding what you’re currently wanting to focus on.
Energetic balancing may include emotional clearing, acupressure, sound healing, crystal healing and more.
What do I need for the session?
Please wear comfortable clothing and bring a water bottle with you. Your shoes will be removed during the appointment, so feel free to wear or bring socks if you prefer.
Where do sessions take place?
In-person Kinesiology or Reiki sessions are held at Beach Acupuncture and Wellness Lounge in Christies Beach. Online Kinesiology is over a video call. If you wish not to be on a video call but still want a distance balance, this must be discussed prior to your appointment.
How many sessions will I need?
It’s recommended to have one session per month. This helps your body maintain its momentum and prevents everyday stressors from lingering and building up over time. Think of your body like a car, regular servicing and maintenance keep it running smoothly. You don’t wait until the car breaks down before getting it checked, and the same approach applies to caring for your body.
Is it a replacement for medical treatment?
It is not a substitute for clinical treatment. Kinesiology is a complementary therapy, intended to support overall well-being. It is not intended to replace medical advice, professional diagnosis, treatment or regulated-industry advice from qualified healthcare professionals. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
What is the cancellation policy?
